Amcrest IPM-721 PTZ issue
Hey Ben,
I recently upgraded the firmware on this camera, firmware notes here:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/amcrest-files/Firmware/Changelog/IP2M-841_IP2M-721_Changelog_3-22-17.txt
Before the firmware update I was able to hit the number keys 1 thru 5 on the keyboard to move the camera to some presets I had setup. Those don't work anymore. Even using the PTZ slideout I need to click the preset numbers twice for the camera to move. Clicking once does nothing.
I'm using the Amcrest profile in SecuritySpy 4.1.2
No big deal as the double-click does work on the presets but being able to quickly move the camera with the keyboard numbers was awesome.
If you need more info let me know.

This is not something we've heard of before, it sounds like it could be a bug in the camera's latest firmware update.
If you press the number key on the keyboard twice, does this have the same effect? -
Number key twice doesn't work. Odd eh!
I'm going to test a few more things to see if I can shake it. Firmware has def. introduced something. I'll try a factory reset of the camera and then re-set the PTZ zones... -
Heads up to anyone that may stumble on this issue. Firmware V2.420.AC00.18.R 5/21/17 has fixed this double-click issue.
cheers,
