Trouble with motion capture

Hi,

I have 7 cameras hooked up and cannot get motion capture to trigger the recording of video. It will bring the camera window forward and display it when motion is detected, but wont record any video. Any ideas? Thanks.

Those 2 options you mention are Actions, not the Motion Capture section that has "Movie Capture" make sure the checkbox is checked.
Type: I use a "separate movie per event"
with capture rate of 10 frames per second
Pre-capture of 10 seconds, and post-capture of 15 seconds

Also double-check if a schedule is set at the bottom of the "Motion Capture" section - or "Armed all the time" If something other than Armed all the Time is set as a schedule, then go to the Schedules section of the app settings to see when that schedule would be active.

These options need to be set per camera.

The above advice from Brian is good. The main thing is to make sure that motion-capture mode is Armed — see the Getting Started section of the user manual for more information on this.

Yep - I wasnt armed. That was the problem. Thanks for the solve!
