Amcrest camera pan/tilt can't be fine-tuned

I just received and installed one of these, my second.

I can't fine tune the pan-tilt at all. No way to bump it a few degrees left/right/up/down. Will only move in something like 30 degree increments. Tried its web interface, tried various options from within SS. Appreciate any other suggestions.

    Just tried it again and it's better but still not great. Line of sight to router, about 12 feet away.

    Same model, 2 rooms away from router, brick and plaster in between, no problem.

    In the Settings tab of the Camera Control window in SecuritySpy you'll find an option to adjust the PTZ speed. Does this solve the problem?

    Yes, I mentioned that in OP but perhaps didn't describe it well; changing the speed from within SS had no effect.

    What "Profile" setting are you using with this camera in SecuritySpy under Settings > Cameras > Device? Both the "Amcrest" and "ONVIF" profiles should work, and perhaps the speed setting works better with one of the profiles than the other. So whichever one you are using, try switching to the other one and then trying the PTZ speed control again in SecuritySpy to see whether this gets you finer movement.
